Terms of Service

These Terms form an agreement between you and MASTER IAM, operated from Montréal, Québec, Canada. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you use the Services for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

MASTER IAM may provide:

• free and members-only IAM learning content;
• a curated board of third-party IAM job opportunities;
• recorded content, newsletters, tips, and future platform improvements;
• private asynchronous Guided support for eligible members; and
• separately booked one-on-one guidance when offered.

Features and content may evolve. A membership provides access to the features included in the selected plan while a monthly subscription remains active, or under the Lifetime Founder conditions below. It does not transfer ownership of course content or software. Video lessons are coming soon; they are not part of the currently available recorded content.

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by MASTER IAM’s failure to use reasonable safeguards.

Memberships are personal. You may not share an account, resell access, bypass access controls, or allow another person to use members-only content through your account.

Learning + Jobs and Guided subscriptions are billed monthly in U.S. dollars through Stripe. The price, included features, billing frequency, and any applicable taxes are shown before checkout. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

Monthly founder pricing is available for a limited number of places across Learning + Jobs and Guided, as shown on the pricing page. Lifetime Founder is a separate offer. A founder price remains available to that subscription while it stays continuously active. If it is cancelled or otherwise ends, a later subscription may be offered only at the price then available.

You are responsible for applicable taxes and for keeping your payment information current. Stripe may retry failed payments. Under our current policy, monthly access continues while the subscription is marked past due during payment retries. Access ends when the subscription becomes unpaid or is cancelled, unless another active membership applies. Reversed or fraudulent payments may result in suspended access.

Lifetime Founder costs $399 USD once, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout. It includes all current and future MASTER IAM platform courses, features, learning tools, curated jobs, and private asynchronous Guided Q&A, without a recurring membership fee. Video lessons are included as they are released.

Lifetime access is personal and non-transferable, lasts for as long as MASTER IAM operates the platform, and remains subject to these account-security and acceptable-use terms. It does not mean ownership of the platform or a guarantee that every individual feature will remain unchanged forever. No future platform tier purchase is needed to access new platform releases. Separately booked one-to-one coaching and résumé reviews are separate services and are not included.

Lifetime Founder has no monthly renewal to cancel. A full refund ends the access granted by that purchase. A payment dispute may suspend that access while the dispute is unresolved. These rules do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Monthly members can switch through the pricing page. The unused portion of the current paid period is applied once as a discount on Lifetime, based on the amount actually paid after discounts and prior refunds or credits. Stripe shows the exact credit before payment. The quote is time-limited. Unpaid periods and free trials earn no credit. After successful payment, we stop the monthly subscription without issuing a second monthly credit or refund. A failed or abandoned checkout does not cancel it. Outstanding invoices remain separate.

Any comparison with monthly pricing is based on the stated monthly rate and period, before tax. It is not a claim that future content has an independently assessed cash value.

You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time using the accessible billing control in Member dashboard → Membership settings. The Stripe customer portal confirms the effective cancellation date. Unless the portal states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and access continues until then.

Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, fees already charged are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for an unused portion of a billing period. This rule does not limit cancellation, refund, chargeback, or other rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.

Guided support is a private, asynchronous message service. It does not include calls unless a separate service expressly says so. Response times are estimates, not guarantees, and the service is not intended for urgent, emergency, legal, compliance, or incident-response matters.

Separately booked one-on-one sessions are governed by the duration, price, scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation terms shown at booking. A membership does not include a one-on-one call unless explicitly stated.

MASTER IAM provides educational and career-development information. It is not legal, regulatory, financial, employment, or cybersecurity consulting. You remain responsible for professional decisions and for validating requirements that apply to your employer, systems, and jurisdiction.

Job listings are selected from third-party sources for convenience. We do not employ the listed candidates, represent the employers, control the hiring process, or guarantee that a listing is complete, accurate, still open, suitable, or legitimate. Review the employer’s official posting before applying and never send money or sensitive credentials to obtain a job.

MASTER IAM does not guarantee employment, interviews, promotions, certifications, compensation, or any particular learning outcome.

You may not:

• break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
• share, scrape, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit members-only content;
• probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass security or access controls;
• upload malicious code or use automated traffic that burdens the Services;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
• submit confidential employer data or personal data you are not authorized to share.

The Services, course structure, original text, recordings, graphics, branding, and software are owned by MASTER IAM or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

While your account or membership is eligible, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services for your own learning and career development. You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant us permission to host, process, and display it as needed to provide and protect the Services.

We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may maintain, secure, modify, or discontinue a feature. If we discontinue a paid Service in a way that materially removes the remaining value of a prepaid period, we will provide a remedy required by applicable law.

We may restrict or terminate access for fraud, non-payment, security risk, material breach, or unlawful use. Where reasonable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination remain in effect.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded. You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups, professional advice, and security controls for your own work.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MASTER IAM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, employment opportunities, data, goodwill, or business interruption. MASTER IAM’s aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of your Lifetime Founder purchase price, if applicable, or the amount you paid to MASTER IAM during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be brought before courts with jurisdiction in Montréal, Québec.

Before starting a formal claim, please contact us so we can attempt to resolve the matter. Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that applicable consumer-protection law does not permit you to waive.

These Terms and the policies referenced at checkout form the agreement for the Services. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or this agreement without our consent.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services or law. We will publish the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
